Elena and Silvia are passionate about cooking, having grown up in a patriarchial family wherecooking was a rite. They have been joined in the kitchen by a vivacious Tuscan chef.

Elena takes care of first courses and desserts and Silvia does the meats and sauces. In this kitchen, Tuscan cuisine is mixed beautifully with Ligurian and Genovese, telling a story of where these two come from.

The food prepared here is made with ingredients made on the property or in the surrounding vicinity. Particular attention is given to the research of genuine produce offered by the area like, Balze pecorino cheese, Pomarance lamb, Montegemoli bread (baked in wood fired oven), Chianina florentine steaks, wild game, salumi and honey.

These are just some of the products that, together with Extra Virgin Olive oil, wine, and homemade preserves are available to our guests for purchase.

Pies, focaccia and various types of cookies for breakfast are made by Elena. The jams and jellies are homemade from seasonal fruits of our orchards.

In the covered porch area we have a large grill and barbecue for grilling Florentine steaks, even Chianina, a variety of grilled meats, pizza, focaccia and Ligurian farinata (thin focaccia made with chickpea flour).

The restaurant is next to a covered porch which is enclosed with large glass doors for dining inside or outside during the hotter seasons.

The westward angle gives way to a beautiful view of the sunset during dinner.

There are occasions where buffet's are organized outside for tasting homemade products and those of the surrounding area.
