Elena and Silvia
are passionate about cooking, having grown up in a patriarchial
family wherecooking was a rite. They have been joined in the kitchen
by a vivacious Tuscan chef.
Elena takes care of first courses and desserts and Silvia does
the meats and sauces. In this kitchen, Tuscan
cuisine is mixed beautifully with Ligurian
and Genovese, telling a story of where these two come from.
The food prepared here is made with ingredients
made on the property or in the surrounding vicinity. Particular
attention is given to the research of genuine produce offered by
the area like, Balze pecorino cheese,
Pomarance lamb, Montegemoli
bread (baked in wood fired oven), Chianina
florentine steaks, wild game,
salumi and honey.
These are just some of the products that, together with Extra
Virgin Olive oil, wine, and homemade
preserves are available to our guests for purchase.
